Resetting Your Password

You can reset your Via Benefits password on the website or on the Via Benefits Accounts mobile app anytime you like. To protect your online security, Via Benefits recommends you change your password at least annually.

Reset on the Website

To reset your password on the website, follow these steps:

1. Select Sign In.
2. Select Forgot Password

 
 

3. Enter your Email address to verify your account. Select Next.

 
 

4. You're sent an email from Willis Towers Watson that provides a code to verify your account.

 
 

5. Once you receive the code, enter it in the Enter code field and select Next.
Note: If you don't received the code, there’s information about getting the code.

 
 

6. Select Text Me or Call Me.

  • Text Me sends your mobile device a six-digit verification code. Once you receive the code, enter it in the Enter code field and select Next.

  • Call Me calls the phone number displayed onscreen. After you answer the call, you're prompted to press the pound (#) symbol on your phone.

 
 

7. Create and confirm a new password following the password requirements. Select Next.

 
 

You're now signed in and your password has been changed! You're able to sign in using your new password the next time you visit the website.

Reset on the Via Benefits Accounts Mobile App

This article applies to you if you have a Via Benefits reimbursement account (sometimes known as a Health Reimbursement Arrangement).*

When you reset your password, you're required to verify your account. This verification is done to protect your information.

To reset your Via Benefits Accounts mobile app password, follow these steps:

1. Select Forgot Password? on the Sign in page.

 
 

2. Enter and confirm your Social Security Number (SSN). Select Continue.
Note: Leave the Employee ID blank.

 
 

3. Enter your Date of Birth and ZIP/Postal Code. Select Continue.
4. Select Request Code on the Request Code page.

  • A code is emailed to you.

5. Once you receive the code, enter it in the Enter Code field.

 
 

6. Review the last four digits of your phone number on the Verify Your Account page. Call us if it’s not correct.
7. Select Text Me or Call Me.

  • Text Me sends your mobile phone a six-digit verification code to enter on the app. Once you receive the code, enter the code in the Enter Code field.

  • Call Me (if available) calls the phone number we have on file for you. After you answer the call, you're prompted to press the pound (#) symbol on your phone. You're automatically advanced to the next step on the app.

8. You can now change your password. Remember, it must meet minimum password requirements, which are shown onscreen.

*Via Benefits reimbursement accounts are administered by Extend Health, LLC.
